Tram and bus tickets:
Tickets can be purchased at traffic kiosks or at ticket machines located at some stops. Also the driver / motorist sells the tickets, but only for one-hour passes and for the deducted amount.

The tram and bus are valid for the same type of ticket:

  • For one ride: 3.20 PLN (reduced: 1.60 PLN)
  • Hourly: 3.80 zł (reduced: 1.90 zł)

Immediately after entering the vehicle, you must delete the ticket in the car.
One-way ticket means that if you change from one bus to another, you have to delete the new ticket. If you have an hour ticket deleted less than an hour ago, you do not need to delete your new ticket. Almost certainly you will not need an hour ticket unless you want to travel to Gdansk for tourist purposes.

Tickets for SKM:
The price of a SKM ticket depends on the number of kilometers between the stations.
The ticket can be bought at the ticket office at the station or at the ticket machine, the vending machines are usually located on the platform or at the ticket office.
There is a possibility to purchase a ticket from the motor-coach at the front of the train, but usually a small handling fee is charged.

By train:
In Gdansk there are three stations where the PKP trains stop: Gdańsk Główny, Gdańsk Wrzeszcz and Gdańsk Oliwa. To get to Gdansk University of Technology, it is best to get off at Gdansk Wrzeszcz and take the tram, bus or go on foot (only 1.8 km) to the University.
A small number of PKP trains passing through Gdańsk stop only at the station "Gdańsk Główny" - better check before you buy a ticket.
On this page you will find the connection you are interested in.
